Heartland Plant Innovations Using doubled haploids to accelerate wheat variety development

Heartland Plant Innovations (HPI) was created by the farmer-stakeholders of the Kansas Wheat Commission and Kansas Association of Wheat Growers in 2009 to "accelerate research, development and commercialization of profitable innovations by achieving dramatic
improvements in the market performance of wheat, sorghum and native plants."
